  • Secure - all data stored and transferred to/from the Parent Portal system is encrypted via a 256 bit encryption system. This is the same level of encryption used by banks when you access your account online.
  • Parent Login - all parents who are registered on the system have a unique username and password combination which is automatically generated and managed by the system. Registration of parent accounts can be automated if required based on their email address and with an automatically generated password.
  • It works across multiple schools - if a parent has children in several schools which all use the Parent Portal system then using a single username and password they are able to access information and any school specific notifications relating to their children from one area. This is an automatic feature of the system and each different school’s areas are kept separate.
  • Child’s Personal Details - parents can view, and request updates to, their children’s personal details including name, address, DOB, gender and form details. The updates are notified to the school who can then choose whether to update the details.

  • Attendance - Parents can access near real time information on their child’s attendance at school. If the school registers their students each period then this will be displayed. Parents can request an email or text (SMS) notification of absence of their child if they would like to do so. The school can disable these features if required and absence notifications are sent out manually by a nominated school Attendance Officer who manages the simple process.
  • Parent Details - details of all people with parental responsibility are detailed on the site for each child. The ability to request an update to these details is supplied to the parent and the school is notified of any requests to update the details.
  • Timetable - parents are able to view their child’s timetable information from within the Parent Portal.
  • Notifications and Newsletters - are all available within the Parent Portal system. Notifications are used to notify parents of something that affects them or their child eg child missing from school or school trip late returning. Parents can request notifications by email or text (SMS) if they wish.
  • The school can choose whether to send notifications by email or text (SMS) or both or to disable these services.
