The Parent Portal system gathers information directly from your school’s Capita SIMS .Net system. There is no need to enter any data directly into the Parent Portal system, this reduces management overhead, time and expense. Each time an entry is updated on SIMS it will be automatically updated in the Parent Portal system.
The Parent Portal system is really two systems in one integrated package. The first allows parents to access attendance, assessment, behaviour, timetable and school reports from within a single website and the second is a full featured email / text or SMS messaging system that allows notification of absence, instant updates on school trips etc as well as the ability to send out newsletters, letters and notifications directly to a particular student’s parent, a group of students’ parents, an entire form, a year group or the whole school.

The Parent Portal system allows a parent to access historical reports so that there is no need for the school to provide copies.
It allows a parent to update unexplained absence reports which are then emailed to you for verification. This cuts down on administrative overhead as the gathering of this information is automated.
The Parent Portal is customised with your school name and logo to make it look like an integrated part of your own school website. All notifications, text (SMS) messages and report names are fully customisable using an easy editing system although useable examples are provided as standard.
The Parent Portal system is a fully managed system and full training and support in its use is provided. It can be setup and configured for you in around 30 minutes.
